The initial concept behind VTranscend was to get climbing photos from our New England bouldering sessions online. I wanted to display the pictures in a format that you could quickly browse through without sacrificing too much image quality. As we started traveling (to Hueco, Font, and Squamish), the photo library has expanded to track our journeys.

More recently, the site has become both my photo and written journal for the road trip that I began in September 2006. I've tried to update the site once or twice a week to show some of the amazing climbs and places I've visited around the country.

Send me an email or leave me a message on the message board with what you think. If you want a high resolution copy of a photo, email me the file name (hovering your mouse over a photo should show its name) and I'll get it to you.

Lastly, I want to add that so many of the photos on the site were taken by people other than me, and much of the credit is due to them. I apologize in advance for not giving a photographer credit for their respective photograph, but it's too hard to keep track of these things.
